As you may know we have some school winter sports coming up in term 2, for year 5 and 6. The sports we will be taking place at Hagley park on Friday afternoons. Trials have already taken place, and the teams will be announced this week and some other teams may be announced next term.
Here is a quote from our sports leader Ms Baker. “Did you know that team stands for Together Everyone Achieves More? And in order to take part you’ll need to work well with your peers.”
Make sure that if you would like to participate in sports teams you'll need to show you can show leadership and work well with your peers.
Also another quote was from another sports leader is Steve and he said “it's all coming together bit by bit.”. Steve has been coaching the soccer team for a number of years.
We can’t wait to see all of our sports players at Hagley!
